Ladies & Gentlemen and all others eligible to vote in the general Election 2007, welcome to my weekly diary. This diary shall document the highs and highs (there will be no lows with me) of my campaign trail as I strive to win a seat in Dáil Eireann in the forthcoming General Election.

A little bit of background to myself is needed here. My current abode sees my living in relative isolation in remote west Donegal. Here in my hidden world I have surrounded myself with every single broadsheet imaginable. This gives me a very rounded view on life. On occassions, I must confess, I do read the odd tabloid. This is mainly for the sport pages, betting tips and the picture.
Having spent my life wheeling and dealing with vehicles and property I then turned my attention to my first love... Gardening. The gardening was not a success. This heartbreak lead me to switch my career. I went back into the used car trade for a number a years. I sold cars al over the country from Killarney to Letterkenny, from Limerick to Mullingar. I found that with a quick slap of paint and new licence plates and cheap used car and make a man quite wealthy quie quickly.
About 10 years ago when I entered the prime years of my life I decided to throw my hat into the political arena. "Leo you're some man for words, you should get into politics." That is a quote from my inter-cert English teacher in the CBS second level school where I was taught to be a man. Mr. Wherity had belief in my political abilities years and years ago, so I re-lit the political torch hidden away in my attic and began afresh.

As an independant candidate standing in the Donegal region, I believe my hard line approach to a number of keys issues will see me rise above the average "Political Joe" and see me triumph. Keep reading and I shall keep you informed on my progress.
